PICKIN' PARTY BANDS ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE WEEKLY JAM MONTHLY JAMBOREE LINKS VOLUNTEERS Visit the DMBA Site CONTACT Something for all    A party-goer enjoys a time of playing his harmonica while sitting  at the Spencer stage	The Red, White & Bluegrass Activities Page SOLO GUITAR CONTEST All you guitar players out there be sure to enter our solo guitar contest! Entry fee is just $5.00 Rules: You must play 2 tunes of your choice, one tune should be faster and one slower You must limit to only one accompanist Only instrumental pieces-no vocals Try to keep your set of 2 tunes to under 5 minutes Your tunes should be in the Bluegrass, Old Time, Swing or Country style. Judges will judge on: Timing, accuracy, ability and showmanship A cash prize will be awarded to the two contestants with the highest scores. Third place will receive a non- cash award.   PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! 1ST PLACE PRIZE THIS YEAR WILL BE $100.00!! 	Join Jeff Tetrick for a FREE digital photography workshop available both Friday July 4th and Saturday July 5th . (times to be announced)           Included in the workshop will be advice on cameras, discussions on computers, printers and photo paper as well as tips on photo composition. Jeff’s book “Secrets of Digital Photography Before and After You Buy Your Camera” will be available for $5.00. Be sure to get your autographed copy. Bring your own camera for advice and questions after class.           Jeff will also act as a “roving photographer” during the festival so bands or individuals can have a professional photo taken during their performance or anytime Friday or Saturday for a nominal fee.
